Here is a screenshot of the sand that was supposedly dumped onto the local streets. Jehovah is given credit for having a typhoon churn the water and deposit the needed sand.

YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS UP: FINANCIAL HELP AND THE HAND OF JEHOVAH COMPLETE PROJECT
January 2016 JW Broadcasting..... video starts at 35:30
A local design construction department manager named Travis Brooks tells a story about a building project on the island of Yap, Micronesia. A small Kingdom Hall needs to be expanded because the facility wasn't big enough for those in attendance. Some members had no choice but to sit outside in the heat and rain, protected only by a tarp.
In order to make cement for the expansion, sand is needed for the mix. Yap does not have much sand available. The building committee decide to talk to local village chiefs to see if any of them would sell them sand in order to complete the project. Every village chief turns them down. The project comes to a halt. Without sand you cannot make concrete!
How does this project get completed? Jehovah is credited with delivering the needed sand by the means of a typhoon that misses the island but with the high winds and the churning of the water, sand is deposited onto the local streets. The local village chiefs tell the Witness construction committee they can have all the sand if they clear all the sand off the streets. The project gets completed.

How much do Elders actually get along with each other?
by Davros ini was reading in the shepherding book that elders should “ cultivate and maintain friendships with one another.”, and thought to myself “bulls$it!” i remember that most of the elders in my old congregation were nothing but nasty asses.
i know it may vary from congregation to congregation, but do elders generally get along with each other behind closed doors in elders meetings?
or, are they often in conflict with each other?

Here are 2 small verbal fights between my congregation Elders that I observed while meetings were in session:
Elder # 1 : a real bully, makes female members cry with his overbearing attitude, throws his weight around the other 3 elders and usually wins
Elder # 2 : a really nice guy, has many disputes with elder # 1, tries to stand up to elder # 1 as much as possible
Elder # 3 : the newest elder, a pushover, never stands up to Elder # 1
Elder # 4 : 80 years old, cannot remember parts of his talks, given lite duties due to his age, a pushover
While Elder # 1 was giving a talk ( heavy rain storms are brewing outside with loud thunder and lightning ) the microphones and lights are knocked out. We lost all power and could barely see. Elder # 1 yells out, '' We have an electrician in the house and it looks like he's just sitting there and not doing anything to see what he can do to fix the problem.'' Elder # 2 ( an electrician ) says angrily, '' The transformer is down. What would you like me to fix?" ( These 2 elders did not like each other)
Elder # 1 is giving a 5 minute question and answer talk at the Ministry School. Elder # 3 is called on to answer the first question. He gives a 3 minute answer which covers almost all the paragraphs. Elder # 1 says to Elder # 3, ''If you want, you can come up here and finish my talk."

'' Brothers and Sisters, I will cut this talk down to the chase. Forget about the ''wicked men'' in the days of Moses and Jesus. That is small potatoes to what is making all of us lose sleep at night. What the Watchtower Society is really worried about is what's happening to the Watchtower Corporation.... The internet has exposed our lies, false teachings and flip-flops...many of the thousands of pedophile cases have been settled out of court, with many more to come.... the Society is having financial problems, which has given them no choice but to downsizing and cutbacks.... Jesus predicted about the Watchtower Society in Matthew 7:15, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.''
'' How strong is our spiritual core?'' Well, just like Samson reveled on where all his strength came from that brought his downfall, our core is weak and been brought out in the light. We cannot hide any longer!''

Brushstrokes create patterns, and patterns may create anomalies, which are quite prevalent in the graphic artist's world.
I'm not an artist but the patterns on this zoomed in sleeve is not from bad brushstrokes and a tired artist. Either you see subliminal art or you don't. To me this is intentional!

Mr. Robert Luccioni must of read this book before his talk, ''Strengthen Your Spiritual Core.''
Mr. Luccioni blames all the Watchtower Society's ills, mistakes, blunders, lies, false doctrines and prophecies on ''wicked men and imposters,'' ''lies and misrepresentations,'' ''twisted statements,'' ''negative spin,'' and ''some who are swayed, stumbled, knocked down and too heavy to carry.''

After these things the Lord designated 70 others and sent them out by twos+ ahead of him into every city and place where he himself was to go.+ 2 Then he said to them: “Yes, the harvest is great, but the workers are few. Therefore, beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.+ 3 Go! Look! I am sending you out as lambs in among wolves.+ 4 Do not carry a money bag or a food pouch or sandals,+ and do not greet anyone along the road.+ 5 Wherever you enter into a house, say first: ‘May this house have peace.’+ 6 And if a friend of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if there is not, it will return to you. 7 So stay in that house,+ eating and drinking the things they provide,+ for the worker is worthy of his wages.+ Do not keep transferring from house to house. The customs of that time meant that they would likely stay in the home of hospitable people . They were instructed to bring a blessing of peace to each house, if the home would receive it. They were to trust that God would provide for them through the generosity of others, and they were to thankfully receive what was offered to them – without begging from house to house.
Here is your typical twisting of scriptures taken from the from the January 1/1 1967 Watchtower Magazine study article pp 5-12, ''They Followed Him"
24 In two years’ time after Jesus began preaching, many more Jews had enough knowledge to go from house to house and preach. Luke tells us: “The Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. Then he began to say to them: ‘The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest. Go forth. Look! I am sending you forth as lambs in among wolves.’” (Luke 10:1-3) His apostles and these seventy disciples, totaling eighty-two teachers, knew that for them to go out into the world and preach as they were now instructed to do would bring upon them many problems, persecution and trials, but they had faith in Jehovah and his Son, Christ Jesus, to take this forward step. These ministers sent to preach still had the time and opportunity of learning more from Jesus.

Jehovah's Witnesses—Faith in Action, Part 1: Out of Darkness
This is how the Watchtower Society depicts the early disciples of Jesus! They are shown distributing 'literature' (House -to- house, just like the modern day Jehovah's Witnesses) with their field service bags! But get this...in the form of rolled up scrolls!!!
The Watchtower forgot to include this scripture in this video. Jesus said in :
Luke 10:7
"And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. DO NOT GO HOUSE TO HOUSE."

For most runners however the average time for completing a marathon is 4 hours 30 minutes for men and 5 hours 10 minutes for women.
The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (WBTS) is now in its 136th year as a corporate entity. It was founded in 1884 as Zion’s Watch Tower and Tract Society by Charles Taze Russell.
